Rosemont, IL – Tecta America, the national leader in commercial roofing, announces that Derek Homrighausen has been promoted to Operating Unit President at Schwickert’s.
Derek Homrighausen’s career in construction started over 25 years ago, marked by his education at North Dakota State College of Science, where he pursued a degree in HVAC-R installation and service. His tenure at Schwickert’s, also approaching the 25-year milestone, commenced with his role as an HVAC Service Technician. Derek’s progression through various positions led to his recent role as Vice President of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP).
Derek has led acquisitions, propelling company growth and diversity amongst trades. His wealth of experience, dedication, and deep understanding of our company make him the ideal candidate to lead Schwickert’s into its next chapter.
Neil Bannerman has assumed the role of Vice President of MEP. Neil has also grown through the internal ranks of Schwickert’s, most recently as Mechanical Service Director.
