Eagle Cornice was founded in 1901 by Simon Strauss, a Lithuanian immigrant, and named the company after the symbol of his new country – the eagle. After many years of elbow grease and quality work, his business continued to grow and he moved into the current Cranston, RI office. Members of several families have helped the business earn its reputation for on time, on budget and high-quality workmanship, including the founder’s grandson, as well as members of the Brillon, Soccio and Hogberg families. Now, 123 years after the company began, Eagle Cornice joined the Tecta America family in late 2024.
