Tecta America Corp. is pleased to announce that Dean Laymon has been promoted to Operating Unit President at Tecta America Oklahoma, effective October 1, 2024.

Dean began his career in 1995 as a laborer at BRB Roofing and Manufacturing. After exploring opportunities outside the company, he returned in 2004 and advanced through the ranks. By January 2011, Dean moved into upper management as a General Foreman, and a year later, he became a Superintendent, managing multiple projects simultaneously. After spending nearly 18 years on the road, Dean transitioned to Plant Manager, overseeing production and manufacturing operations at BRB. In 2016, when Craig’s Roofing, Inc. acquired BRB, Dean continued as Plant Manager and took on additional responsibilities, including Project Manager. Following Tecta America’s acquisition of Exterior Solutions in 2017, Dean stepped into the Service Manager role and served as Safety Coordinator for a brief time. Since joining Tecta America, Dean has embraced the opportunities for growth and professional development, participating in numerous training events and honing his skills. He attributes his success to Tecta America’s support and investment in his career. “Dean will continue to build Tecta Oklahoma on the foundation Craig started.  Dean is a thoughtful manager who always does the right thing.  He will grow the business with the team’s help,” said Todd Stugelmayer, Chief Operating Officer of Tecta America. “Dean’s journey through the roofing industry exemplifies hard work, dedication, and a commitment to growth,” added Kevin Palmer, President of Tecta America. “In his new role as OUP, we are confident Tecta America Oklahoma will continue to thrive due to his ability to lead by example and continuously seek improvement,” “I wish the best for everyone at Tecta and trust that my team here in Oklahoma will do very well under the leadership of Dean Laymon and his core team,” said Craig Wilson, Retiring Tecta America Operating Unit President of Oklahoma. Please join us in congratulating Dean on his well-deserved promotion!
